I have always heard the term "wiki" is reference to computer terms i.e. wikipedia, wikileaks etc. But it was not until today that I learned what it really means; something that is edible by a group. Now having that information it makes me think about the controversy involving Julian Assange, and WikiLeaks. This site is a whistle blowing venue for government, and their policies. There was concern that this would pose possible threats to national security. Maybe I am natiive, but that does not seem a big concern to me. If WikiLeaks is edible like WikiPedia, then what is the concern? There should not be too weight put on documents that are being edited by the general population. I would imagine that most of the imformation is just wishful thinking, not actual fact. I am sure that are some facts, but not enough to pose a real threat to national security.
