During our discussion in class today I searched this interesting article in relation to what Andrew was talking about whether Pronography achieves the intimacy of person to person or not. This articles sees it from both sides, the pros and cons.
It also talks about the addiction of pornography.
I am starting to wonder about your obsession about porn. Maybe you need a meeting. Totally kidding, it is an interesting article.

ReplyDeleteBut, for me the question has to do with the definition of intimacy and how that would work in a virtual community. I think even calling it "porn" might make it too value-laden for us to really think about it seriously. Anyway, that's another two cents.

Hahah. Funny. I'm just curious because it was a subject that we talked in one of my class a couple weeks ago that got me thinking about the security of internet. Kantar mentioned about how the internet (links) has become inappropriate with all these adult websites that children may come across when using the internet (at home or at school). But, next subject.
