Hahah, that's funny that you posted this up because I actually did a book report on Morgan Spurlock "Don't Eat This Book" and he had many statistics and research from all sorts of studies that showed a correlation between obesity and income rate. It seem to be true because the majority of families with low income depend on food stamp therefore, they would spend the majority of it during the first couple weeks (spurgling on food).
I worked in a store before, and I kinda noticed that too. Most of people who used EBT cards in that store were obese or at least chubby. Also kids, when they get to use their parents EBT cards, all what they buy is like a bunch of junk junk junk & junk food :)
